Terms of Service
Last updated February 2026. The rules and guidelines for using our hosting and domain management infrastructure.
1. Payments & Billing
By engaging our services, you agree to the following financial terms:
- Payment Methods: We accept Direct Deposit, PayPal, and Credit Cards (Stripe). Please note that we do not store any credit card data.
- Direct Deposits: Please allow up to 48 hours for DD bank transfers to clear and be received.
- Active Accounts: Enabled services are billable regardless of active traffic. We can't cancel services that we're unaware of being moved. Please advise us ASAP if you're moving services away.
- Service Cancellations: Please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice for service cancellations. We may require the current month to be paid in full before services can be released.
- Refunds: If a service is not up to an acceptable standard, please contact us to discuss your options for a refund.
Important Information
Accounts reaching 60 days overdue will be automatically terminated. This includes the permanent deletion of all website files, databases, and backups. We will attempt contact by email and phone prior to this happening.
Domain Renewals: Domains that aren't renewed within the 30 day renewal window will expire and may not be able to be recovered. Please ensure domain renewal payments are paid WELL IN ADVANCE.
2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for activities that threaten our server reputation:
- Spam: Hosting accounts found to be sending spam will be immediately suspended and quarantined until properly sanitised. Reinstatement is only possible once all malicious code has been identified and removed.
- Security: Customers are responsible for CMS security (WordPress updates, plugin maintenance). Compromised sites will be suspended for safety.
- Prohibited Content: Accounts detected containing prohibited content, malware, viruses, or copyright-infringing material will be immediately suspended pending investigation. Law enforcement authorities will be notified where applicable.
- Resource Limits: Shared hosting accounts must not monopolize server resources. Excessive usage may require upgrade to VPS.
3. SLA & Uptime Guarantee
We offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
This means your services will be available and operational 99.9% of the time, excluding scheduled maintenance windows (announced 48 hours in advance) and circumstances beyond our control (DDoS attacks, natural disasters, upstream provider failures).
4. Data Ownership & Privacy
Your data belongs to you. We do not hold domains or data to "ransom" provided your account balance is cleared. Upon request and payment of any outstanding balances, we will facilitate transfer of domains, provide backups, and assist with migrations.

5. Billable Hours
Any work undertaken by Dingoblue is billable at $140 per hour. We will provide a quote before commencing work. Bulk hours can be purchased in advance at a discount when purchased in 10-hour blocks.
6. Liability & Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or any indirect damages. Your sole remedy for service issues is a pro-rated credit for downtime exceeding our SLA.
Backup Policy: We maintain between 30 and 60 days of daily backups and at least 48 hours of full Disaster Recovery (DR) backups. Our hosting control panel allows self-serve backup restoration during this period.
Important: Some gaps may appear in the backup schedule due to slow or skipped daily tasks. Backup availability is not guaranteed.
WordPress Backup Plugins: We do not permit installation of common WordPress backup plugins such as UpdraftPlus, as they consume excessive disk space. These are removed automatically. For offsite backup solutions, please contact us for a bespoke paid service.
